The Mercuryo verifies your identity for the transaction to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. A Mercuryo check is a one-time event that can start a crypto purchase. An identity document and a selfie are required as part of the Mercuryo Know Your Customer process. 

The Mercuryo verification can be done on mobile in many ways such as by QR Scan or copying the verification link of your favorite browser.

The Verification process can be completed either by Web or Phone.

Phone Verification Process

1. Click on the Continue button.
2. The first step is to upload the Identity Document.
3. Click on the Continue on your phone button.
4. Click on the COPY LINK button or Scan the QR Code on your phone.
5. Tap on your phone camera icon and scan the QR Code.
   
    
6. Tap on the Chrome QR Code pop-up to start the sumsub verification process.
7. Tap on the Upload the document section to upload the front side of the passport page.
8. Tap on the Upload another page of the document section to upload the back side of the passport page.
9. Tap on the Next button.
   
   
   
10. The second step is to take a photo of yourself, is to click on the Take a selfie section to upload the Selfie from your device. 
11. Tap on the Next button.
    
    
    
12. The last step in verification is the Second Identity Document.
13. Tap on the Upload the front of your document section to upload the document from the device.
14. Tap on the Next button.
    
    
    
15. After successful verification, you can purchase the cryptos from Mercuryo.
