How to verify your identity on itez?

To comply with anti-money laundering regulations, itez verifies your identity during the first transaction. This check is a one-time event that allows you to make a crypto purchase. An identity document and a selfie are required as part of the itez KYC process. 

Itez can be verified via the web or mobile. On mobile devices, there are several options, such as scanning a QR code or copying the verification link.

Know Your Customer Process

  1. Click on the NEXT button.


  2. For verification, choose your document type (ID Card, Passport, Residence permit, and Driver's license).


  1. The Verification process can be completed either by Web or Phone.
  2. Document type to upload in Sumsub
  • The front side of the passport is required.
  • The front and backside of the Identity card are required.
  • The front and backside of the Driver's license are required.
  • The front and backside of the Resident Permit.


Verification Process on Web

  • Choose your document type (ID Card, Passport, Residence permit, and Driver's license) for your verification. 
  • Select the Passport option.
  • Click on the Upload the document section, choose your document, and then click on the Next button.


  • Click on the I'M Ready to take Selfie to complete the verification.
  • Click Allow button to allow sum sub to capture your selfie.

    Sumsub, itez verification partner, will receive and approve the documents instantly.

  • Click the NEXT button.


Verification Process on Phone

  1. Choose your document type (ID Card, Passport, Residence permit, and Driver's license) for your verification. 
  2. Click the Continue on your phone option to start the verification on your phone. 
  3. You can copy the Sumsub verification link and paste it into the favorite browser of your device to start the verification process or
  4. You can scan QR Code to start the verification process.


  5. For verification, choose your document type (ID Card, Passport, Residence permit, and Driver's license).

  6. Select the Passport option.


  7. Click on the Upload the document section, choose your document, and then click on the Take Photo option.

  8. Capture the selected document image, click the Use Photo, and then click the NEXT button.


  9. Click on the I'M Ready to take Selfie to complete the verification.

  10. Click Allow button to allow sumsub to capture your selfie.

  11. Click on the NEXT button.



  12. When you successfully completed the itez Verification process and verified, you are able to purchase the cryptos.
